What we’re about

Come give a talk, just fill in this form and we'll be in touch! https://goo.gl/forms/9v6A30sxwye3uJvk2

C++ is at the core of most of the world's most important software systems.

From embedded and mobile devices, via desktop OSs and browsers to cloud servers and the world's networking infrastructure. From medical devices to fighter jets and spaceships.

Modern C++ is evolving at a fast pace and is a long way from the young language it was in the 1990s.

This is a group for anyone interested in C++. All skill levels are welcome.

We are planning a mix of beginner friendly talks, expert advice, trip-reports, committee-updates and everything betwixt.

We're a product of the community, so we need people from all backgrounds to take their turn at the front.

Core C++ Lightning Talks Meetup is back!

Tel Aviv Cinematheque, HaArba'a St 5, Tel Aviv-Yafo, IL

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming OPEN and FREE event, which will be held during the Core C++ 2025 Conference (corecpp.org), at the same venue – Cinematheque TLV.

At this event, we invite YOU to share your favorite C++ insights, ideas, or interesting notes in a quick, 5-minute talk! This is your opportunity to get on stage and present your ideas to the world!

In addition to the traditional lightning talks session, this year we will have a Relay-Style talk, which will be given by multiple speakers.
At the open meetup at the end of the conference day, we’ve decided to organize a special talk: mysterious, challenging, and particularly entertaining.

As you know, every talk has a beginning, a middle, and an end. This time, we’ll give you the opening and closing lines, and with those known in advance—all that’s left is to fit the plot to the frame 🙈🖼

The relay-style talk will be in English and will include 5–7 parts, each about five minutes long, so it’s best to register in advance to secure your spot. Of course, if there are open places, you’ll be able to sign up at the event itself (and maybe even improvise on the spot? 🤯).

The most amusing combinations will win the audience’s laughter 🤣

To give a lightning talk or to participate in the Relay-Style talk, please register here: https://forms.gle/GPWLohA638eMLcKE7
